Welcome To My World Of CreativityThanks for dropping by. Here you will find details and samples of my work and that of the Seoid Productions creative team. I am a writer and producer based in Cork city, I have written radio drama for children, poetry and theatre for adults. I have researched, produced and presented programmes, documentaries and drama for radio, theatre and more recently, TV. What’s New? When Lockdown lifted, we ran back into the recording studio as quickly as it was safe to do so! Our latest radio drama Pandemonium with the Tilly Tollys! was broadcast on RTE Jr in September 2021 and funded by the BAI. Check it out here on the RTE Jr podcast stream if you missed it on the airwaves! An action packed 2-part drama, it follows another adventure with the Tilly Tolly's but this time they are in lockdown! Mrs. Tilly Tolly worries that the next home schooling project will blow up her house. Mr. Tilly Tolly starts a new singing career… at the garden gate! Amelia looks to her smart speaker ‘Alora’ to escape the chaos while her brother, Conor decides to camp out next door. This can only end up in … Pandemonium!! Our recent children's historical docu/drama A Handful of Women took the listeners on a thrilling journey of discovery with 'young Peg' through the campaign for women's suffrage in Ireland. We had great success with our first bilingual, English/Irish multi-media theatre production, Fear an Rothar/The Bicycle Man for Culture Night at the Goldie Chapel, Nano Nagle Place in Cork. I recently completed a collaborative writing and audio project with Primary School Children funded by Cork County Council's 'Artist in School Scheme'. Also, super excited as I have just sent off my first book manuscript to publishers! Adapted from my radio drama The Lonely Flower, the book version has even more tales to tell. |
