Mrs.Tilly Tolly and the Boy
who goes Bonkers
Ann Dalton - Seoid Productions
This is an action packed children's radio drama with a strong CORK flavour! It is aimed at children aged 6 to 10 years. Ann has drawn on her usual mix of sensitivity and downright hilarity in this new fast paced adventure.
The drama follows a day in the life of the Tilly Tolly’s, just your regular Irish family….or perhaps not! We are invited to join them on their chaotic mission to save their son, Conor who jumped from the tree in their front garden on to the wheels of a low-flying jet! They draft in the local ‘City Council Rescue Service for Boys who go Bonkers’. While Mr. Tilly Tolly and the City Council representative deal with the media, Mrs. Tilly Tolly and her daughter, Amelia take matters into their own hands. They begin their search for Conor’s potential whereabouts on their laptop (really!?!) but soon Mrs. Tilly Tolly becomes frustrated with technology. Soon, they devise a rescue mission which begins on a motorbike and ends…..well, we are never quite sure how it’s going to end until, miraculously it actually does! In this production, Ann has drawn again on the experienced director, Judie Chalmers and editor Rupert McCarthy-Morrogh to bring this imaginative world to life. The cast, a hugely talented crew!, includes Fionula Linehan, Dominic Moore, Mia Jones, Michael Ryan and Cora Fenton. |
